FAQ

“How much does it cost to attend Cook Cabin and what does the price include?”

The price is forever changing and is determined by the cost of cabin rental, which changes due to higher demand in certain seasons. The cost is usually between $450-$650 a person.

Your payment guarantees a bed, breakfast/lunch/dinner by our in-house chef, endless recording opportunities, networking & collaborations with 25+ talented artists and producers, prize giveaways on the final day, tons of content for your social media, discounted rates for music videos/photoshoots that are done at the cabin, a Cook Cabin t-shirt, a Cook Cabin Lighter, a Cook Cabin flash drive and priceless memories that will last a lifetime.

Think of it this way…if you book an 8 hour recording session in Atlanta, you’ll easily be paying $500 if not more. Cook Cabin gives you access to 96 hours of endless recording. It’s an insane deal.

“How do you decide who goes to Cook Cabin?”

We really like the artist and producers that come to the cabin to be actively investing in their music careers. If you are looking to use the cabin as a place to begin your career and don’t have any experience with music/recording, you may need to work on your craft more and show that it isn’t just a hobby. The people that come to the cabin really take their music seriously and envision it as a career path.

If you don’t have anything music related content on your Instagram or haven’t released a song, I would suggest doing those things before filling out the submission form.

“What do I need to bring to Cook Cabin?”

Vices are always present, but aren’t supplied, so please bring money to contribute. The main thing you’ll need to bring is your laptop and a positive head space that is prepared to work endlessly for 4 days straight. If you have business cards or merchandise, we do suggest bringing some with you to trade with other artists.

“How do I get to the Cabin when I get to Georgia?”

Dubby will be in constant contact with anyone flying in and before getting to the cabin, we usually are able to arrange car pools to pick people up. We recently just started hiring interns to make the car pooling seamless. It is always easier if you are able to get an Uber to the cabin when you land and obviously, if you drive, you can just drive straight to the cabin.

If your flight lands later than 2pm on the first day of the cabin, you will have to Uber to the cabin because the hosts will already have left to get everything set up.
